Delivery & Shipping Policy

This Delivery and Shipping policy, together read with the Terms and Conditions (accessible at ________) sets out our policies and procedures towards delivery and shipping of products purchased on the Sarumam Platform.

  1. GENERAL CLAUSES
    1. i. An email confirmation will be sent to your registered email id and mobile number as soon as the order is placed. The second email confirmation will be sent when Sarumam Pharmacy accepts the order after checking the availability of the product.
    2. ii. Sarumam Pharmacy dispatches the products, subject to availability of the products within 2-3 business days and the same is communicated to the customers via mail or message along with the billing track details.
    3. iii. Sarumam Pharmacy shall endeavor to deliver the products within 5-6 business days subject to availability of products but in case of any unexpected situations or area being non-serviceable, delays are bound to happen.
  2. TERMS OF SHIPPING
    1. i. Sarumam Pharmacy will intimate the customer about the approximate days of delivery of the purchased Product on the order confirmation page.
    2. ii. On receipt of the approved order, Sarumam Pharmacy will dispatch the products within a period not exceeding 1-2 business days or within the time as specified in the product description on the Sarumam Platform.
    3. iii. Sarumam Pharmacy shall endeavor to dispatch the same product that the Customer has placed an order for. Any claims in relation to wrong delivery of wrong products will be replaced subject to the conditions set forth in Return, refund and cancellation policy. Sarumam Pharmacy shall arrange to pick up the wrong product from the customer and deliver the correct product to the customer.
    4. iv. In the case the product for which an order has been placed by the customer is unavailable / out of stock, the entire amount charged to the customer would be refunded to the customer.
    5. v. The customer shall ensure that correct, complete, and accurate address along with sufficient landmarks to aid identification of the address are provided. If there is a failure in delivering the purchased Products arising out of the customer’s failure to provide correct, complete, and accurate information Sarumam Pharmacy shall not be held liable at any point in time.
    6. vi. While Sarumam Pharmacy shall make reasonable endeavors in ensuring that purchased products are delivered to its customers in a timely manner, delivery may be delayed on account of:
      1. Shipping issues beyond Sarumam Pharmacy’s control;
      2. Unsuitable weather conditions;
      3. Political disruptions, strikes, employee-lockouts, etc;
      4. Acts of God such as floods, earthquakes, etc.; and
      5. Other unforeseen circumstances.
    7. In such events of delay, Sarumam Pharmacy shall make reasonable attempt at proactively intimating the customer by writing to the customer on his/her registered email account and/or mobile number. It is to be noted that Sarumam Pharmacy shall be under no obligation to compensate the customer for any mental agony or any tortious claim that may otherwise arise on account of a delay in the shipment and delivery or use of the purchased Products.

    8. Sarumam Pharmacy, as an internal process, undertakes multiple diligences to ensure that their delivery executives are individuals with the highest regard for ethics and integrity and are well mannered and professional, competent. It is expressly clarified that any ill-mannerism, impoliteness, discourtesy or offensiveness shown by Sarumam Pharmacy’s delivery executives is beyond Sarumam Pharmacy’s control and any issue arising between a customer and Sarumam Pharmacy’s delivery executive will have to be resolved by the customer independently.

    9. Upon the successful placing of an order on the Sarumam Platform and after Sarumam Pharmacy has successfully handed over the purchased Product(s) to Sarumam Pharmacy’s delivery executives, the customer will receive a unique tracking identity number, which will enable the customer in tracking the status of delivery of the purchased Products. The customer may use the tracking identity number on the Sarumam Platform to check the whereabouts of the purchased Product and the estimated time of its delivery. Sarumam Pharmacy shall make reasonable attempts to ensure that the tracking status of the purchased Products is updated in a timely manner. However, Sarumam Pharmacy does not guarantee the accuracy of the tracking status since it is updated on a real-time basis and is subject to inconsistencies arising out of time-lags in updating the information and other technicalities beyond Sarumam Pharmacy’s control.

    10.  Sarumam Pharmacy shall not be liable to pay any consequential, indirect, punitive or incidental damages (including but not limited to damages for loss of profits or savings, business interruption, loss of information), resulting from the delivery partner.
