Alerid Syrup is given to children to treat various symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing, and itching associated with allergic conditions like hay fever, urticaria (hives), conjunctivitis (red, itchy eye), and common cold. Give this medicine to your child orally with or without food in the dose, time, and way prescribed by your child’s doctor. It could either be prescribed alone or in combination with other medicines. The allergic symptoms may subside after your child has taken the initial few doses of Alerid Syrup. In case of serious allergic conditions, your child may have to continue taking the medicine for a week or two. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, repeat the same dose after your child feels better. But, refrain from doing so if it is already time for the next dose.

Althrocin Liquid is an antibiotic medicine that helps treat bacterial infections of the eye, ear, nose, throat, lungs, teeth, skin, and urinary tract. Also given as an alternative therapy to penicillin allergy, Althrocin Liquid may help treat certain specific infections such as pertussis (whooping cough) and diphtheria. Prefer giving Althrocin Liquid on an empty stomach (either 1 hour before or 2 hours after food) as that will enhance the medicine’s absorption. However, if stomach upset occurs, give it with a small amount of food. Althrocin Liquid is usually given four times a day. Since the dose depends upon the type of infection, its severity, and your child’s age and body weight, make sure to stick to the dose, time, and way prescribed by the doctor.
